I was all happy about steam forge until now. I didn’t know nananea was leaving ATA to do it. I thought she was gonna do both. That makes me a sad panda.
Regarding Nana’s comment that daily quests, in her opinion, are not content, what _do_ you consider content?
It it only raids and dungeons? New questlines?
I disagree with this opinion because I feel that dailies are a great way for solo players to progress their character and therefore give those players a reason to keep playing. Put aside the “gotta have it all NOW” and “min-maxers must have everything to raid” excuses: the evolution of daily quests to not only provide gold and rep but to help professions and gear to unveiling progressive storyline is content.
To address the raiding/gearing concerns, I think Blizzard is heading in the right direction with the rep boost commendations in 5.1 as well as providing rep via the 1st heroic/scenario per day coming in 5.2. I wonder if they will just modify that to 7 heroics/scenarios per week like they did with 5-mans in Cata (?). This should help alts rep up a lot easier, but we’ll see!
Thanks for the great podcast!
