Blizzard this morning has announced the dates for the 2013 Blizzcon. On November 8th and 9th in Anaheim, as always at the Anaheim Convention Center, Blizzard is inviting roughly 25.000 of their closest friends to join them in a celebration of the greatness that is the Blizzard gaming universe. After the lack of a Blizzcon in 2012, I am certain that this year’s event will be even more anticipated and exciting than years past. As always there will be plenty of panels, loot for sale, high caliber entertainment, and plenty of games to demo, and no doubt there will be forthcoming announcements of reader meetups galore!
Blizzard has not yet announced ticket sale dates or pricing, though they do have their hotel package up on the Blizzcon site(when it is back up from maintenance). No doubt when the tickets go up on sale, they will sell out incredibly fast. Last Blizzcon took mere seconds to sell out both days that tickets went on sale, so look for a similar situation here. The community has been awaiting this date, and as of this writing people are already furiously booking hotel rooms and flights in anticipation of either buying or finding tickets to the show.
